NEW YEAR'S EVE 2016
For the third year running, we're back at The Graham for NYE and ready to take you on another wild musical journey with some of NYC's most talented names in techno, EBM, acid, and new wave.
The Horrorist (Things to Come, NYC)
The Horrorist is a veteran of New York City's early '90s rave scene, an innovator who helped push rave along toward more hardcore interpretations. Influenced by the rhythmic industrial disco of Nitzer Ebb, DAF, and Front 242, his releases over the years broke the mold of techno's blank impersonality with unforgettable lyrics describing the club scene's darkest excesses. Recording since 1989 he and has released over 80 12" singles and 3 full length albums. In 2001 he had a Number 1 hit on the German Dance Charts (DDC) with the song "One Night in NYC" and in 2004 his album "Manic Panic" went to Number 1 on the German Alternative Chart (DAC). The scope of his music catalog is huge and he has recorded for every major label (Universal, Sony, Warner, Koch, etc...) and all the best known techno labels (Tresor, Industrial Strength, Neue Heimat, etc..). The Horrorist has worked with the biggest names in techno including Chris Liebing, Ben Sims, Frank Kvitta, DJ Rush, The Hacker, Marc Acardipane, John Selway, Frankie Bones, Ricardo Villalobos, Haujobb, Radical G and more have all..
Alex from Queens (Capriccio, Fleurs du Mal, NYC)
Alex is no stranger to the NYC techno scene: He's one of our favorite New York DJs with sets that go in myriad directions from acid to techno to industrial to house, providing a truly unique style. He launched Capriccio in 2011, incorporating the more eclectic side of dance music by hosting techno greats like Juan Atkins, Egyptian Lover, Reade Truth, Traxx, Ngly, D'marc Cantu, Hieroglyphic Being, DUST, and Carlos Souffront, to name a few. He recently founded the Fleurs du Mal record label which will feature releases from Crimen Excepta, Upsetting Keys, among others.
Andi (SYNTHICIDE, NYC)
Andi has bringing the sounds of new wave, post punk, industrial, and EBM to the crowds of New York for the last couple of years, both with her DJ sets around the City and with her very successful Synthicide nights, which host some of the best in the field. She hosts the Black Door Radio Show on WFKU, which explores the darker side of electronic music.

Facets, our resident and curator, comes to Brooklyn by way of Belgrade, London, and Paris, with a passion for all things techno, house, acid, electro, and beyond. With his recent return from playing gigs in Europe, expect hes set to get dark and strange.
